Licences

Every cover comes with a licence. You pick how far it goes: Standard for your release, Exclusive Buyout to take the cover out of our catalog, or a 1 of 1 that is only offered to one buyer.

Standard

• Use the cover for one release on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp and every other platform. A release is one single, EP or album with its own tracklist. New versions of those same songs belong to it, even with their own release date or UPC: remixes, sped up or slowed versions, instrumentals, radio edits and a deluxe edition. A new song or a new project is a new release.
• The licence covers the release you buy it for, including the artists, label and distributor working on it.
• Promote that release with it: posts, stories, reels, visualizers, your music video, press kits and ads.
• Put it on physical copies and merch for that release: vinyl, CD, cassette, shirts, posters.
• Edit it for this release: add text, crop, resize, recolour or animate it.
• Worldwide, with no end date. No credit needed.
• The cover stays in our catalog until someone buys the Exclusive Buyout, so other artists can buy a Standard licence too. Your licence stays valid after a Buyout.

Exclusive Buyout

Everything in Standard, plus:

• We take the cover out of our catalog automatically once your order is paid, and we won't sell or license it again. If a Standard licence was sold in the minutes before that, it stays valid like any earlier one.
• Heads up: other artists may have bought a Standard licence before you. Those licences stay valid.
• Buyout means we take the cover out of our catalog. It does not transfer ownership or copyright.
• Want a cover with no Standard licences next to yours? Pick a 1 of 1.

1 of 1

• Everything the Exclusive Buyout gives you, with no Standard licences before or after yours.
• A 1 of 1 is sold to one buyer only. We don't offer Standard licences for it.
• After your order it is gone from our catalog for good.
• In your cart and order a 1 of 1 shows the licence name Exclusive Buyout. The 1 of 1 terms on this page apply to it.

What a licence is

• You get the right to use the file as this page describes. You don't get ownership of the artwork, and parts made with AI tools may not be protected by copyright at all.
• "Exclusive" means one thing here: we don't sell the cover again. It can't stop someone somewhere from making something that looks similar.
• Our covers are made with AI image tools and edited by us. The AI tool providers keep their own rights to what their tools generate, and some tools show generated images publicly.
• We may keep showing a cover as sold work in our portfolio and on social media.

What you can't do

• Resell or give away the file, or pass it on to anyone other than the people who help you release, press or promote this release (distributor, label, printer, designer, video editor).
• Sell it as a template, stock image or premade cover.
• Mint it as an NFT or register it as a trademark or logo. If you want to, ask us first.
• Claim you made it, or register it as your own work.
• Use it to train AI models.
• Use it for anything illegal, or to attack people for their race, religion, gender or sexuality.

• PNG, 3000 × 3000 px, no watermark, no copy protection (DRM).
• Instant covers: download right after payment.
• Made by hand for you (your artist name and title, or no text): the finished file by email within 24 hours.
